New Token Skeptic Podcast On GM Foods, Rats And Cancer – And Brian Cox On Bad Science!

By the way – new Token Skeptic podcast episode is out! Token Skeptic Episode #139 – On The Seralini Affair And GM Foods – Interview With Dr Ashley Ng.

This one is kind of special: it’s the first time I recall (maybe there were other times, but this was a specific request to check out one aspect of a news story) that I had a listener ask if I could do an investigation.

So, hop over to episode #139 (and fill in the listener survey – you never know, I might do an investigation for you!) when you’ve finished watching this enjoyable speech by Brian Cox:

This was a great episode, Kylie. I do wish that this study would open up a broader discussion about GM foods and their pros and cons (I’m talking beyond human health here), but I am happy at least that there are voices out there to combat the sensationalist coverage of the study.

Thanks! It was a bit of a challenge to do, but it was fascinating to learn more about the background of the paper and talk to someone who I contacted via Twitter and was so willing to help out!
