My brother (a Pentecostal pastor) has a picture of this exact sign from his trip to Israel in 2009. It is a sign leading into a church in the Garden of Gethsemane. Part of his caption stated, “Sign (should be true in any church)”. As my father is also a Pentecostal preacher, the comment I posted was, “the story of my life…”
Well, we knew that already.
It does work better as a declarative than an imperative, doesn’t it? LOL.
No wonder their exhilarations outside their churches including some pastors.
That’s the sign going in.
…and yet it explains a lot.
