It’s going to be a wild and crazy mid-term election season. Im making popcorn.
Geeze. That guy isn’t even from Kansas.
I’m so glad I’m a liberal…voting Democrat..always. Those guys just scare the hell out of me.
He believes in lowering the debt and not telling us how.
He’s also forgetting who took a surplus and turned it into the biggest deficit ever – who was that guy? You know – total moron, couldn’t even speak…his old man held the office too…damn my memory.
Denial can be very powerful. My mother is a staunch Republican, and attributes the Clinton surplus to Reagan economic policies, and the Bush deficit to to Clinton. She has also stated on more than one occasion that the huge debt and crushing tax burden currently enjoyed by New York citizens are NOT the fault of the fiscally responsible Republican party that ruled the state senate with an iron fist from 1968 to 2008. According to her, the taxes and spending mandates were all sneaked into place by the Democrats. WTF?
Thinking like that is scary.
I’m not even sure I can begin to touch on how disturbing that was – and not in the way he intended.
+1 on the popcorn. This ad is some kind of awesome. IMHO you can’t trust political ads anyway and if someone wants to run them, the ads might as well be entertaining. As awesome as the Wizard of Oz is, though, I vote the next one be based on the Princess Bride as follows: Dennis: “Hello. My name is John Dennis. You just killed the nation. Prepare to die.” Pelosi: “I’ll give you anything you want!” Dennis: “I want my country back, you son of a bitch!”
Republicans slamming Wall Street and screwy mortgage lending is just too funny.
Article on Pelosi’s office here: http://articles.sfgate.com/2010-06-15/bay-area/21910882_1_move-offices-house-speaker-nancy-pelosi-new-office Not surprisingly, increased security was part of the reason for the move.
The right really hates Pelosi. That alone is enough for me to like her.
