Daniel, is there any way to get a feed of the full blog posts any more, rather than just the truncated one that’s being served now?

  2. Michael says:

On a tangentially related note, condoms commonly available right now are only well adapted for average-sized European penises. This is a huge problem for China and especially India, as the average penis length is lower, and thus most people cannot wear them properly. Of course, it’s also a problem for a significant portion of Africa for the opposite reason.

It is incredibly aggravating how such simple problems seem to get ignored. There have been a few efforts to distribute appropriate-sized condoms, but clearly not as many as there needs to be.

The ones they are wearing are a step in the right direction, I hope?

      • Michael says:

Well of course wearing a condom at all is a big improvement in a country with such high HIV prevalence, but condoms fail in India far more frequently than in the U.S. despite comparable spending on education, and this is probably largely due to the size issue.

I meant the clergy. Ha. But yes I agree better fitting condoms are better. ;)

A lot of condoms never reach the public. Paving contractors mix them with asphalt to improve the resilience of roads. Sari makers use them to polish the metallic threads woven into the fabric. I’m not making this up.

Clerics in condoms. Perish the thought.
