I’m tired of this websites pro-1+1=2 agenda. Why can’t we teach the contreversy and let kids decide which math is right for them?
Honestly, posting cartoons wasn’t part of why I joined… and I’m a theist.

Your concern is noted.
That’s an easy one: Threaten each group to give them 1 punch in the face and 1 punch in the groin and ask them how many punches they will receive. Act accordingly. Controversy solved (for all punches > 2 against the larynx).
Sheesh… 1 + 1 does equal 3, but only for large values of 1. Come on!
Anything to get a girl to laugh!
As an grocer in a very poor neighborhood we teach 1+1=3 daily to any and all of our patrons with poor math skills.
It is true that 1 + 1 = 3, to one significant digit, and within the bounds of experimental error.
