This Shall Not Stand!

In the last post, I mentioned the acronym TULIP, which is derived from Calvinist theology. The five letters stand for:

Total Depravity (also known as Total Inability and Original Sin)
Unconditional Election
Limited Atonement (also known as Particular Atonement)
Irresistible Grace
Perseverance of the Saints (also known as Once Saved Always Saved)

It looks like there’s now an attempt to modernize:

Look, Calvinists, despite my fondness for the Dutch heritage of my region, I’m willing to let you have the tulip. But I’ll be damned if I’ll let you take our bacon. (What’s that? I’m already damned? You know what I mean!)

That’s not bacon, this is bacon.

I thought swine was supposed to be off limits, unclean. They cannot take my bacon!

Bad people, original sin? NO! Original righteousness since there has never been anything wrong with the image and likeness of God in which man was originally created, Gen 1:26. Only that which once belonged (to Him) can ever be found again, can ever be ‘lost’ and He came to ‘seek and to save (restore man to the knowledge of his true Paternity/identity) that which was lost’ (Luke 19:10). All the best.

Bad taste, original sin? NO! Original deliciousness since there has never been anything wrong with the image and likeness of Bacon in which man originally created, Gen 1:26. Only that recipe which once belonged (to Bacon) can ever be found again, can ever be ‘lost’ and Bacon came to ‘season and to save (restore man to the knowledge of his true Cuisine/cookery) that which was lost’ (Luke 19:10). Bacon is the best.

      There, that makes more sense.
