A reasonable blog on atheism, religion, science and skepticism

Speaking of Chick-Fil-A, here’s a spoof video of some drag queens “endorsing” Chick-Fil-A. Don’t make baby Jesus cry — watch it and enjoy some drag food action:
I wonder if a gay person would be allowed to run a franchise.
Oh, they have sugar in the chicken breading and the buns are buttered.
The Cathy family has always been very outspoken about their christianity, sometime for good and sometimes like this, for discrimination. As someone who worked a lot with emotionally disturbed children and abused children, I have seen Truet use his money for good things. If he is only doing that because he thinks it will make sure he goes to heaven or if he just sees that its the right thing to do, I will still like the man. One of the facilities I worked at was very near Truet’s home in southwest Atlanta and he came and talked to the kids and was not pushing religion, but rather about how to overcome life’s problems.
On the other hand, I loved the video.
Most people are anti-gay marriage, but have been bullied by persistent leftist media to be more accepting, more, well Christian. This is the peril of relativism. Gays ok today, man/boy relationships tomorrow.
Love the sinner; hate the sin.
Not sure if troll or stupid …
I’m guessing stupid troll.
Actually 51% of Americans are pro-gay rights, including the right to marry. And if your math is different than mine, 51% would mean it’s a majority. It’s the bigoted assholes like yourself who are so deluded that you believe more people agree with your anti-gay stance.
You’ve just demonstrated the real peril of relativism Alan. Both that it convinces people to say any stupid f*cking thing that pops into their head, and even more perilous that it convinces people that other people’s rights should be subject to their feelings.
It isn’t your place to hate the “sinner” or to judge the “sin”. You have no legitimate right to decide whether other people should be able to get married. It is irrelevant how many people are against gay marriage. If you don’t like gay marriage, don’t have one.
“Not sure if troll or stupid …”
The appearance in short order of three homophobic drive by posters in one day all spouting the same talking points in opposition to gay marriage could indicate some sort of coordinated trolling effort.
Two blog posts in one day with “Chick-Fil-A” in the title, exponentially increased the odds of rednecks stumbling onto this site.
I always used to err on the side of must be a troll (the real use of the word) but having read The Blaze for sometime I’m not so sure …
