You Spin Me Right Round …

Meet the folks at ICR – no, not that ICR, the Institute for Centrifugal Research, a research lab studying the positive cognitive effects of spinning people around:

We are proud of our history – a chronicle of passion and pioneering achievements in the realms of brain manipulation, excessive G-Force and prenatal simulations. Established in 1976 by Dr. Matthew Brenswick and Dr. Nick Laslowicz, the institute has never stopped doubting the generally accepted laws
of physics.

We believe that even the trickiest challenges confronting mankind can be diverted via human centrifugalization. Spinning people around at a sufficiently high G-Force will solve every problem. Our confidential field-studies and covert experiments have confirmed: To the best of our knowledge, everything is possible. And if it is not, what the Hell, we try it anyway.

Note: Yes, this is a joke. I think.

Now they just have to deal with the problem of evil – if people spinning would solve the world’s problems, why does an imperfect world already spin? Answer that, smarty pants!

Not enough spinning, obviously. The faster the world spins, the faster things get better!

  • Nick, mostly

There’s no problem that can’t be solved with a bit of circular reasoning.
