  • A point taken for my latest comment on the post on this website just before this one: the emotional lives of prisoners rendered into a commodity for the profit-making of the plutocrats. Whether it’s legal or not, there’s something obscene and unsightly about it in a way that would not be so clear-cut, were it the “majesty of the State” doing it. This is lynch-mob justice institutionalized into a business.
