In Paradisum

Today, on the Feast of All Souls, I want to offer my prayers for the repose of the souls of your near and dear ones who died in the past year.   My God, in his goodness, bless them and keep them close, may He watch over them and bring them home:

In paradisum deducant te Angeli; in tuo adventu suscipiant te martyres, et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem. Chorus angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lazaro quondam paupere æternam habeas requiem.

Please remember in your prayers my mother, Lillian Cruz-Uribe, who died on Easter Monday, April 21, 2014.  If you wish to add any particular intentions in the comments, I will remember them in my future prayers.

Let’s pray also for Mark Gordon’s mother Barbara, who had the remarkable timing to be born to new life just a few days ago.

Thank you Melody. It has been six months now, but today it all came rushing back to me.
