Fun at #SSA2011

Here’s the mashup of my experience at the SSA Leadership Conference 2011.  It includes singing Les Miserables in the style of blues with Dan Barker owning faces on the piano, waxing one of my legs, shaving my head, and godless karaoke with the masses (including Sarah Moglia, Jen McCreight and Greta Christina).

Overall, it was a damn good time.

    There were a few moments when, as I was rollerskating three miles to the karaoke bar through deserted, unlit streets on broken sidewalks, I wondered how this night of karaoke could possibly be worth it. Turns out it was probably the highlight of my adult life. In fact, I’m going to take a moment right now to weep quietly for everyone who wasn’t there.
