$50,000 matching offer for Camp Quest

Camp Quest is awesome.  Period.  That’s why I’m gonna go be a counselor at Camp Quest Ohio this year.  The few days I was present last year was an incredible time.  I got to teach a workshop on magic.  I also bumped into an aspiring singer and was lucky enough to have time to give her a voice lesson.

Last year a noble fellowship of bloggers including Greta Christina, Jen McCreight, Hemant Mehta, Digital Cuttlefish, myself, and many others banded together to conquer PZ Myers in a fundraiser for Camp Quest.  I hear a rematch is being planned for this year, but now the stakes are higher because Camp Quest just announced a $50,000 matching offer through the end of the year!

That’s a lot of money to support a lot of kids learning to do a lot of critical thinking.  Throw some money in the pot now if you feel so inclined and get ready for another blogger war before summer.

I doubt that they will count my daughter’s registration fee for camp as part of the matching grant. Big thanks to all of you who are donating!
