One "Million" Moms: you lose.

Christina here…

Oh look, One “Million” mom’s sent out an email!

If you haven’t already heard, Ellen DeGeneres mentioned One Million Moms on her television show yesterday with a few hand-picked Facebook comments that supported her of course.

A few days ago, someone created a facebook page: 1 million people who support Ellen for JCPenney which, after a few days, has (at this publication) 141,517 likes.

Your page (which has been around much longer) has 43,432.

Your comment clearly implies that Ellen only has a few supporters.

It’s not nice to lie. Why does a flaming atheist have to tell you that? Oh, I forgot – because atheists have far more moral fortitude than you.

Even Bill O’Reilly doesn’t agree with you. that says something.

Watch the video of her show to see how she validates all of OMM’s concerns about the J.C. Penney decision. She starts with celebrating California’s Prop 8 decision that came Tuesday, February 7, 2012, against traditional marriage, and then goes after OMM in a rant.

California’s Prop 8 decision has nothing against “traditional” marriage. It’s not nice to lie.

For those who are not aware, Prop 8 bans same-sex marriage, but unfortunately the Appeals Court ruled earlier this week that it was unconstitutional. If something is legal it doesn’t make it morally right. What it boils down to is agenda.

Actually it boils down to constitutionality.

Speaking of which, just because it is legal to be a hateful bigot, doesn’t make it right.

OMM appreciates your support for our agenda – standing up for Biblical values. As Christians we know God says homosexuality is a sin (Romans 1:26-27), like adultery, fornication, and other sexual sins. Ellen is attempting to indoctrinate our children. Please check out this blog written by Fox News contributor Sandy Rios. She covers this subject in great depth.

How is Ellen attempting to indoctrinate our children? By existing? How dare she show the world that homosexuals possess qualities making them philanthropic, employable and successful. She’s not dying of aids in a ditch somewhere, she’s a public figure. For shame.

In today’s culture when an individual stands up for what they believe in and someone disagrees with them then they are referred to as a hater when in reality it is OMM’s opponents who are hating us.

No, they are referred to as a hater because they are a hater. The KKK stands up for what they believe in, too. All haters are “standing up for what they believe in”.

You’re a hater.

Tolerance does go both ways.

No it doesn’t. I don’t have to tolerate your intolerance.

Apparently, OMM must be doing something right because scripture says that we will be persecuted for our Biblical beliefs (Matthew 5:11). Our voice is being heard! The Word also says that Jesus told his disciples that they would be hated because He was hated first (John 15:18). OMM will remain strong because we are to be the salt and light.

OMM has hundreds of thousands of supporters joining together for what is right.

Where are they? Citation needed.

Yes, OMM will have its critics, but remember Godly principles validate our stand. OMM is growing everyday and has gained new supporters over this past week. There is strength in numbers! It is our responsibility as parents to do everything in our power to protect our children from being misled and desensitized.

Shouldn’t you be winning this fight then, if you’ve got god on your side?

OMM plans to cover other issues in the near future, but we will not change our stance on Ellen becoming the new spokesperson for JC Penney. OMM will not back down or give in to pressure from the media. If you have not had a chance to contact JC Penney and ask them to remain neutral in the culture war then go to our website to Take Action.

Yes, please do contact JCPenney and ask them to remain neutral in the culture war! Neutrality means not firing someone for their sexual preference.

Sincerely,

Monica Cole, Director

P.S. Please forward this to your family and friends!

I think I have more friends than you do. Ellen sure does.

So…. “remaining neutral in the culture war” doesn’t mean hiring as many gays as straights – or even in a ration similar to the general population – it means hiring no gays at all?

    My head hurts.

Ellen Degeneres Facebook page has over 2 million “Likes” while One Million Moms has barely more than 40,000. Maybe they should change their name to 40,000 Moms.

Shouldn’t you be winning this fight then, if you’ve got god on your side?

But not if Ellen and her supporters have chariots of iron! (Do cars count?)

I’ve said this before, but Ellen has to be the worst windmill they could possibly have chosen to tilt at. She’s like the most charming person alive! For dog’s sake, their asking Families to boycott Dory! The only possible result of inflicting the mental task on your followers of simultaneously picturing her as monster culture terrorist and and scatterbrained cg fish is that many of them realize gay isn’t so scary after all.

Now it’s no longer “support us in the culture war” but “demand they stay neutral in the culture war”. It’s the new “Teach the Controversy”. It’s a sign they’re losing.

Is it? The explicit assumption that their side is the neutral position seems a much more conservative position than ‘teach the controversy’ which assumes there are at least two positions worth considering.

So are they a partner group with NOM…?
