You've confused a "war on religion" with "not always getting everything you want"

God damn, do I love Jon Stewart (most of the time).

“You’ve confused a ‘war on your religion’ with ‘not always getting everything you want.’…America isn’t Nazi Germany. And the secret police aren’t coming for ya. Hell, the IRS isn’t even coming for ya. This government ‘hates’ religious organizations so much, it lets them keep $100 billion a year in offerings tax-free. Persecute my ass like that!”

Spot on.

I think that message needs to be on a billboard. or somewhere where all religious folks can see it. Because that is the absolute fact that their problem is that they’re not getting their way.

    +1 Sam
Along with “Not getting special rights is not the same as being discriminated against.”
and “You confused “war on christmas” with “sharing the month of December””

Come see violence inherent in the system!

  • The Lorax

Jon Stewart is like a hot knife through the fat, buttery lies.

If he ran for President, I’d vote for him.

Maybe it’s high time we really did make this a Colbert Nation…

These guys look like a gang of 5-year-olds having a colective temper tantrum, for the FSM’s sake!

“If he ran for President, I’d vote for him.”? WOW… It’s sad how some “Atheists” have taken their political ideology to the point of being a cult… Well, I guess as science has proven, the genetics/brain biology for theism will be expressed one way or another and when you don’t get indoctrinated into a “God” you’ll end up holding similar views for those on your side of the isle. Until we start calling out mind-raped morons for their cult like behavior regardless of what it is they’re maintaining their “Us Vs. Them” mentality, we’ll never truly advance as a species.
