Anybody coming to Madison who wants an awesome place to stay?

I’ll be yapping in Madison, WI this coming weekend.  Just got this comment from Sastra.

Hi, JT. I was really looking forward to meeting you in Madison this weekend, but my sciatica is acting up and I’m going to have to cancel both my convention and hotel reservations. Regarding the latter, do you or your readers know anyone who would like to take my room at the University Inn — it’s prime location on State Street very close to the hall where the speakers will be. Pricey — $139 a night — but there are two double beds. I have to call by either tonight or tomorrow morn to get my deposit back.

I’ve heard that most of the hotel rooms are gone, so I thought I’d see if anyone going to the Freethought Festival wants to snap it up…

I’m so bummed out to be missing this. The line-up looked great, and I don’t live far from Madison — but it would be too hard to take part without being able to sit or stand for long. I hope to eventually hear you speak at some other convention.

I’ll make you an even better deal.  Whoever gets Sastra’s room, I will pop up for a bit one night and regale you with magic tricks.  :)  Just let me know if you claim it.
