Why Jenny McCarthy wins

Speaking of people who think their intuition trumps the consensus of the experts

Well, I’m sure convinced.

About JT Eberhard

He spent two and a half years with the Secular Student Alliance as their first high school organizer. I’m tempted to load that in youtube and look at the comments but I think that  if  when I saw one where an idiot was actually agreeing with the glaringly obvious sarcasm, it’d destroy the last lonely vestiges of my faith in humanity and I’d have no choice left other than to turn bond style supervillain, build a base on the moon and then have asteroids steered into the earth whilst alternately weeping and laughing maniacally.

I was quietly amused by the video until the voice in the back of my head (the annoyingly cynical and sarcastic one that is too often right) spoke up and pointed out that the reason measles, the mumps and other diseases are making a comeback is because too many people are going with celebrity over science.

Chastened and with a fresh headache, I’m going to go write my article critique that’s already late. Not that I’ve been avoiding doing it or anything. *sigh*
