Since 6am this morning (7am EST), we’ve had 13 new donors and we’ve raised over $750 for the SSA! Holy cow! Let’s keep that up, shall we?
In honor of this awesome progress, I’d like to propose a way to embarrass JT. JT likes to think he’s tough. This is funny because he’s the cuddliest, gooiest person I know. He also likes to claim that he doesn’t like children, when in fact he loves them. We’ll both be camp counselors at Camp Quest Ohio starting this Saturday, so here’s my plan. For every $100 we raise during our blogathon (which ends at 7am EST), I’ll post a picture of us working with kids at camp. This includes the $700 already raised, so I already owe you 7 photos.
Speaking of Camp Quest, don’t forget! If we get up to 300 individual donors by the end of our blogathon, there will be plenty of pictures of kids pieing us in the face! We need 74 more donors to make this happen. Even a $5 donation will help that cause!
As a sneak peek, here’s JT giving a voice lesson to a camper last year:
And here is an screencap of JT’s face when I told him on Skype that I’d be sharing pictures of him with kids at camp:
Let’s keep it up! Thank you to everyone who has supported the SSA. You’re truly making a difference for students across the nation.
This is post 11 of 49 for Blogathon.
Total donors is at 226 (if we hit 300, campers get to pie us in the face)! That link also has some other ideas for pledging for Blogathon.
