Books!

Earlier this year Greta Christina released her ebook Why Are You Atheists So Angry? 99 Things That Piss Off the Godless.  I had never wanted to make sweet love to a book in all my life until that book ruined my streak.  It’s Greta Christina and it’s her best work.  The religious need it more than you, but you also need it.

Well, now you can order the paperback version and have her sign it at Skepticon 5.

Also, Adam Lee has released his unimaginatively titled book Daylight Atheism: the Book.  I got to read the pre-published draft and it was amazing.  It’s straight up arguments against the existence of god written in Adam’s trademark style of being very readable and down-to-earth.  For those interested in having a collection of air tight, casually worded arguments on hand, pick this one up.

Both of these authors are two of the nicest people in the biz.  Their work should be collected for its own merit, but if you had to pick two writers to support with your money, I couldn’t speak more highly of these two.

As for my own book.  It’s still at about 6,000 words.  Life and work happen.  I’m visiting home this weekend.  Maybe I’ll be able to get some writing done there.

About JT Eberhard

When not defending the planet from inevitable apocalypse at the rotting hands of the undead, JT is a writer and public speaker about atheism, gay rights, and more. He spent two and a half years with the Secular Student Alliance as their first high school organizer. During that time he built the SSA’s high school program and oversaw the development of groups nationwide. JT is also the co-founder of the popular Skepticon conference and served as the events lead organizer during its first three years.

I don’t know if this is off-topic, but here goes: just yesterday afternoon, I became the first fiction author to record a podcast with New Books in Secularism. The cast should be out in a couple of weeks.

” Maybe I’ll be able to get some writing done there.” We have plans and schemes to preclude that.
