I'm on a bumper

And didn’t even have to get hit.

Although, if you spread this around, the word is “contend” not “contest.”

Thanks to Karen for sending this in.  :)

Update and pics from #AACon15. MST3K cast members were at my talk.
PERSONAL: Sorry to disappoint you, Julian.
You guys are wonderful.

You could chase cars with a sharpie held in your clenched teeth until all the not quite right words on the sticker are corrected.

I’ve seen “contest” used to mean “contend,” but contend sounds more familiar and therefore betterer.

WFT is up with the one below your quote (which is excellent, BTW):

    “If I ever kill you”?

Please tell me that’s some kind of ironic quote or meme or something that I’m just not hip enough to catch.

    “Awake…facing me…armed”?

It’s from Firefly. Basically, it means that Captain Mal (the guy who said it) is an honourable man who doesn’t shoot people in the back or kill them in their sleep.

      • A Hermit

“Also, I can kill you with my brain…”

  • Scott

I’m afraid I’d rear-end that car before I finished reading the quote! Hey, JT, can you come up with some quotes that work better on a bumper sticker? Something like “religion is dumb”, but with wrapped in your oratory sugar?

  • A Hermit

Great quote, but yeah “contest” would mean you oppose the idea, wouldn’t it?

  • Gregory Marshall

You should look into getting your pay day for that. Someone is making money off of YOUR words. You should at least get a taste.

I get paid in flattery. :) I don’t need money.

As a bicyclist and motorcyclist, your title has lots of bad connotations to me, but congrats!
