In the next half hour I’m leaving my honey to fly back to Ohio and then pretty much working and traveling non-stop until the end of the year.  This vacation has been good for me.  I was strained.  I’m in much better shape now.

Leaving Michaelyn is always hard though.  I wish Kansas and Ohio were closer.

We went bowling today and I shot a 220 using a house ball, house shoes, and having been bowling less than ten times during the last decade.  Still got it.  :)

Update and pics from #AACon15. MST3K cast members were at my talk.
PERSONAL: Mid day lab pics from the wife.
PERSONAL: Happy birthday, Hitch.
It's funny how ambitions change over time.

“Leaving my honey”… sounds like the start of a country song! :D

“I was leaving my dear honey, to catch the red-eye / She looked at me and said ‘this ain’t saying good-bye’ / So I looked her in the face and said / I’m rested and I’m ready, / and when I get back I am making you some awesome… spaghetti?”.

    Eh… leave the song-writers to the song-writers.

Glad to hear you’re feeling better though, keep fighting the good fight JT! Strike ‘em down! :D

220 for one game or for the three game match? :o By the way, is that the Northtowne Bowl in KC at Vivian & Broadway, right off of I-35/I-29?

It was at an alley in Lawrence, and it was one game. You can see the frames if you look close on the monitor. :)

After living there 7 years and escaping, I’ve never found myself wishing to be closer to Kansas, but I hope when she’s done with school, you two find careers that are geographically compatible.
