Ironyyyyyy beyond power of speech.

This exists.

Her vote counts just as much as yours.

Also, I hope she’s a freshman, otherwise her college has failed her.

  • IslandBrewer

    Funny, she doesn’t look Kenian.

    • J*

I was going to post this. Verbatim. Right down to the misspelling.

  • Karen Winter

Doesn’t she make you want to pat her on the head and coo “their, their little republakin”?

  • John

I think that might be the U of A… I have the same furniture, wall pattern, bed, in my room.

    • iknklast

So does the school where I work – I think all schools everywhere have the same pattern.

      • http://faehnri.ch/ eric

Yeah, looks like a dorm from my U of A (Akron in my case.) Ah, Bulger Hall, with your prison-cinder block walls.

But I’m guessing lots of colleges get the same cheap furniture from the same manufacturer.

    • http://criticallyskeptic-dckitty.blogspot.com Katherine Lorraine, Chaton de la Mort

Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania too. Though we didn’t have the rug.

    • Ibis3

Looks like my dorm room back in 1990 at Carleton U. in Ottawa too.

  • Amanda

Dr. Who fans, you have some ‘splaining to do! (Adipose stuffy on the desk)

    • Taneth

I shall explain it as such. The adipose stuffy obviously belongs to her much more intelligent roommate, who is the one taking the picture. The roommate, knowing this will be used to poke fun at her, and annoyed at all her prattling on with anti-Obama talk, agrees to take the picture, knowing that many laughs will ensue.

    • Heather

I’m hoping what Taneth says is right. If she happens to be a Whovian, we’ll disown her. I know many conservative Republican Whovians, but they tend to be a bit high on class than this.

  • RobMcCune

Well she definitely needs to get an education, then she’ll at least be able to spell her moronic garbage.

  • Elisabeth
    • Courtney C.

That was my first thought, but this kind of idiocy really wouldn’t surprise me at this point.

      • http://teethofthebuzzsaw.blogspot.com Buzz Saw

“But this kind of idiocy really wouldn’t surprise me at this point.”

Um…yeah. That’s how Poe’s Law works, don’t ya know? If this kind of idiocy did surprise you, then we wouldn’t be wondering if Poe’s Law applies. (We’d more likely assume it were a fake.)

    • Glodson

This is definitely Poe’s Law. Even if she’s serious, the misspelling and facial expression would lead to us thinking it is parody. If she’s doing a parody, it is something a birther would do in earnest. This inability to tell parody from a real wingnut position is always a Poe.

  • Drakk

A village somewhere in “Kenia” is missing where? And don’t call me an idiot.

    • RobMcCune

Maybe it’s supposed to be accompanied by a map with an arrow pointing to it. I sure hope we find those missing villagers.

  • Brian

This must be a joke, look at her face, come on.

    • Melissa

Yes, I can’t believe that wasn’t obvious enough!

  • Matthew A. Harmer

I say Poe’s Law. Anyone that dumb would have to be a Creationist, and Creationists don’t drink Dr Pepper. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2012/09/18/161342548/dr-peppers-evolution-ad-strikes-a-nerve-with-some-christians

    • Drakk

Good catch. It may be dated from before that news broke though.

  • Isilzha

She’s going to hurt herself if she continues to strain like that.

  • Baal

She appears dyspeptic. Also, not Kenyan.

  • Brad

I’m trying to find the link, but this turned out to be a joke, not someone who is actually against Obama. Google is failing me….

  • John Horstman

    I’m voting intentional Poe.

My first thought was that if I was posting a picture for all the world to see, I’d clean up the trash strewn about AT LEAST the one corner of my dorm room where I’m taking the picture. Just pushing the Dr. Pepper bottle out of frame would have eliminated all the actual garbage in the picture (other that the sign, of course).

    • Trevor

Ya, it has to be a poe. Everyone knows republicans don’t like Dr. Pepper

  • Randomfactor

Kenia has lost an entire village? I mean, I’m careless sometimes too, but this is ridiculous!
(And did she have to put TWO exclamations points after her signature?)

  • CoboWowbo

    Santorum was right…
Santorum: ‘We Will Never Have… Smart People On Our Side’
