Dave Silverman gets voicemail.

Dave Silverman smirking. This is definitely not safe for work.

“I can’t wait til you get to hell.”  The irony here is that anybody who lives with that kind of hatred, so much that they relish the idea of someone burning for eternity, I would argue has already created their own personal hell here on earth in which they live every single day.  Thankfully Christianity isn’t true, and Dave is a very happy person.  So this caller won’t be having Dave’s company in any hell.

Sometimes my parents worry a bit when I tell them about the death threats I’ve received over the years.  I always point to Dave Silverman as the canary in the mine.  If nobody’s so much as taken a swing at Dave, I know I’m safe.

Also, at some point at Skepticon this year we’re going to have my tenth death threat party!  You’re all invited.  :D

And I know there’s a condescending Wonka meme…what are the odds that we could get a condescending Silverman meme going?

This number belongs to Esther Kimble, 313 Belray Dr., Newport News, VA. since I am guessing that the voice in the voicemail doesn’t belong to Esther, I am forced to assume this is her basement-troll son/nephew/grandson.

    But there’s already a -

Ohhh, I see what you did there.

I can’t wait til you get to hell? Isn’t that assuming they will be there also or how would they know? Besides we all know that hell does not exist. “We” being people with a little common sense.

Denise Young – because they will be able to look down on all of us burning in hell. I’m not sure if that’s the Bible or Dante who said that, but it’s written down somewhere. So it must be true.

No, no, the irony is that this person probably thinks religion makes you more moral, too.

It’s amazing how often these people fantasize so clearly about male homosexual acts. It’s almost like it’s the major interest of their lives.
    /not that there’s anything wrong with that./

It’s a form of misogyny. Only lesser beings (women and men who act like women) suck cocks, and what’s worse than that?
