Lauren Lane is not ready for Skepticon 5.

This is my friend Lauren Lane, Skepticon co-founder and one of the organizers to this very day, getting ready for Skepticon 5.

Because at Skepticon, we do everything with way more intensity than the task requires.

The whole WWJTD team (Christina, Dr. Dave, Michaelyn, and Steven) will be at Skepticon 5.  Shall we do a meetup at some point?  Shall we don breeches, tricorn hats, brandish our cutlasses and invade the Freethoughtblogs meetup (if they ever get around to posting one)?

You can also meet Lauren at Reason in the Rock in Little Rock in a week.  Turns out I have to follow her.  Thanks for that one, organizers.  Sheesh.

We’re gonna do one on Saturday, Nov. 10th at Farmer’s Gastropub, where we did it last year. They know we’re coming and are stocking up on beer already. But if you Patheos guys show up, we might just have to thrown down in a rumble like the Sharks and the Jets.

If a rumble breaks out, my money is on PZ. You’ve got to be one tough customer to survive on the mean streets of Morris, Minnesota.

  • Rebecca Hensler

Oh man would I buy popcorn for that one!

      Especially if it involved dancing.
