Republicans should communicate better.

Todd Akin saying "Rape can't make you pregnant" and Richard Mourdock saying "And if it does, it was god's will."

About JT Eberhard

    “Republicans should communicate better.”
My first thought was that they should communicate at all – they play hide the ball during elections and then say, “you knew what we were going to do” after the election. (hello (R) in the fed house running on jobs jobs jobs and passing one abortion bill after another)

My second thought is that if they were honest and effective communicators, they’d be out of office. Even (R) don’t like hearing their anti-woman anti-gay anti-minority anti-poor(and middle class) stated plainly.

I still fail to grasp the complete disdain for Mourdock coming from Christians.

Look at what this country is coming to. Isn’t this bigger issue that this asshole just had a press conference where he spends the whole time explaining what God wants and then the fucking idiots in the media are taking this completely seriously asking follow up questions about what God wants?

I actually have a bigger problem with the people more who are condemning this guy simply by stating what they think God wants. “Oh, the God I believe in doesn’t intend for rape.” (Applause from Liberal Christianity)

Ya know what…you didn’t do anything there. All you did was assert some more comfortable version of God. You know the difference between you and Mourdock? Nothing. Fucking nothing! You’re both just making shit up like you’re fucking 3 year olds! Just stop. If it is in fact God’s will to create life via rape; it’s true whether you believe it or not. If it isn’t; it’s true whether you believe it or not.

The idea that these people are getting in a fight by just believing shit into existence is the real menace here. It’s their right to do that, but they belong on the sidelines doing it. The only answer is forget about what God wants and start thinking for yourselves.

The barbarians are not at the gate folks…they’re front and center.

I applied to be your Latex salesman, any chance you’ve made a decision on that yet?

I think Republicans should heed the advice of The Rev. Sir Dr. Stephen T. Mos Def Colbert, D.F.A., Heavyweight Champion of the World from the other night and carry a pencil with them at all times.
