God didn’t show up for Glenn Beck.

Here was Glenn Beck last Friday.

Here he is today.

“It cannot be called paranoid.”  Oh, I beg to differ.  That’s precisely what it is and what it always was.

This is just the best though…

I believe that people can watch and see the difference. They can feel the difference. When you watch Barack Obama, you can just see he is angry. When you watch Mitt Romney, you can see he is not. We are not an angry nation. We don’t listen to demagogues like that.

Glenn Beck speaks out against angry ideologues.  It’s like an irony Inception.

I really wish I was a classier person.  I really wish I could just shake my head in silent pity at Glenn Beck and move on to ignoring him with quiet dignity and grace.  But I’m not, and I can’t.  I am relishing every one of his impotent, bitter tears and I don’t feel so much as a speck of remorse.

Sorry to be crass but…. what the fuck makes he think that Obama is angry? Hell, if that had been me, I would have lost it on Trump months ago. But Obama is cool. That’s one thing going for the guy. Well, one of many things.

Yeah well, if anything Obama is too restrained (first debate). He does do that tight, clenched mouth, expression sometimes which I suspect is his way of stopping himself from lashing out and potentially saying something he’d regret. Certainly a controlled man with a calculating mind (Please proceed Governor – priceless).

      • Glodson

Control is good. Very good, and Obama seems like a measured and controlled man. I’m sure he’s got a temper. We all do, with degrees of control over that. But yea… I guess Beck looks at Obama and just projects his own impotent rage onto the man.

Beck (in the first video) said that 321 electoral votes is a “Mandate” and a “Giant Spanking”. If Obama wins FLA, he’ll surpass that number.

    • Randomfactor

Which has already been called a “squeaker.”

I really wish I was a classier person. I really wish I could just shake my head in silent pity at Glenn Beck and move on to ignoring him with quiet dignity and grace. But I’m not, and I can’t.

Do you really think it’s an accident or innocuous that people have been convinced that giving scumbag bullies like Beck a free pass is “classy?” (Or “being the bigger person?”) Isn’t that just a little TOO convenient?

Yeah, I absolutely agree. There is no upside to coddling these people. Paranoid theocrats and outright racists take advantage of our aversion to being uncivil. They need to be called out in straightforward and blunt terms.

Just have a care that you’re unloading on a glen beck. Being an angry hate bot is otherwise harmful.

Doesn’t Glen Beck know that Obama has to have Luther, his anger translator, express strong emotions for him? Geez.

Really? He’s trying to paint Barack Obama as an Angry Black Man? He strikes me as one of the most chill people on the planet. Like, more low-key than Bill Cosby. White people love Barack Obama because he makes Bryant Gumbel look like Malcolm X (apologies to Paul Mooney). He’s uncannily unflappable; sometimes I think he might be a witch casting some sort of spell of calmness.
