Happy Thanksgiving/Birthday!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

This is one of those special Thanksgiving days that happens to fall smack dab on my younger brother’s birthday.  Tim is the best brother I could’ve ever asked for; the type that will drop everything and come running should I ever need him.  When life is tough, he’s always the first and most consistent person to check up on me.

And, truth be told, he got all the writing talent in the family.  I hope someday I’ll get to promote some of his stuff on this blog, but the guy’s incredible.  Happy birthday to my bro!  We’ve had lots of adventures.

Now I’m off with Michaelyn and Doctor Dave.  The Kansas City Atheist Coalition is volunteering with the Rescue Mission to deliver Thanksgiving meals those less fortunate.  The others are doing it because being nice makes for a better world and for more societal and personal happiness.  Me?  I’m doing it just to throw god a curve ball.
