American Humanist Association has a new president.

Here’s some good news.  The American Humanist Association has procured a new president: Rebecca Hale of evolvefish.com.

The American Humanist Association (AHA) is pleased to announce the recent election of Rebecca Hale, co-owner of EvolveFISH.com in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as president. In addition to Hale’s new role, she will also serve as a member on the AHA board of directors.

I love the EvolveFish people, and I love this pick.  I especially like this pick because, while the AHA is a great organization, they lack the youthful flash and excitement of a lot of other groups.  This doesn’t take anything away from the work they do, but it does catch fewer eyes.  Hopefully Hale will inject just a small amount of playful irreverence and make the AHA even more fun.  :)
