One day more.

I woke up in St. Louis, and am heading all the way home today.  Soon I’ll begin responding to comments again, and blogging all regular and stuff…for about two weeks, before my speaking schedule takes over my life.

But those two weeks will be epic.  :P  See you all tomorrow.

You guys are wonderful.
PERSONAL: Mid day lab pics from the wife.

PERSONAL: Sorry to disappoint you, Julian.

I am 100% Pro Gun. I feel that the only thing that will stop a bad person with a gun, is a good person with a gun. We do need Mandatory back ground checks and tough gun violence sentencing. No doubt about this however I am of the opinion that there should be NO GUN FREE ZONES! Teachers should be trained and armed. Just for starters, The weak and unable to defend themselves are most often the “Target” in violent crime. Look at the National stats on this. Also look to Road Island and the crime rate there verses the Nation. Now look at the Concealed carry laws, and gun laws of that state in general.
Look to Florida and their Mandatory Gun violence sentencing, Again look at the Gun Crime rate. I am sure you will start to see a pattern. Now look to Mexico, Tough gun control laws. Look at the DAILY GUN VIOLENCE. This is a Culture Issue not Totally a Gun issue. I personally would love to see the Nation fallow Road Islands model!

1- This has what, exactly, to do with this post?
2- I’m not American and even I know it’s spelt “Rhode Island”.

“The only thing that will stop a bad person with a gun, is a good person with a gun.”

Armed people dividing the world into good people and bad people, and looking for an opportunity to shoot some “bad people”, are not going to reduce the number of people shooting each other.

Your argument relies on the unfounded premise that a bad person will have a gun.
