    That’s the South. Living here in Texas, and having grown up in SC, I know that Mac and Cheese is always considered a veg. Many places that do a meat and three veg also include banana pudding as a veg.

    I’m sure america’s obesity problem has nothing to do with constant similar messaging. I must say I haven’t seen such a wide range of fried foods in the ‘veg’ category for a while though.

    I also love how “potato salad” is on there. A starch smothered in fat definitely condones a veggie.
