Theist kills atheist over argument about god’s existence.

A couple dudes got into an argument the other day over whether or not god exists.  The Christian closed his case by shooting the nonbeliever.

Yim killed 25-year-old Dzuy Duhn Phan after a night of partying and playing video games. Another friend, Paul Park, testified the two men had engaged in a heated discussion about God.

Yim became enraged and grabbed his gun after Phan asked Yim where God was when Yim’s father died of a stroke several years earlier.

Yim shot Phan at least six times. Park was also hit by a bullet.

Having read the bible, this seems to be only a problem of timing.  Had Yim lived in the time of the Old Testament (or up to a thousand years into the New Testament in the right places) he would’ve been heralded as an obedient servant of the lord and a hero rather than a petty criminal.

Of course, he always would’ve been a petty criminal.  The only difference is how followers of the unchanging will of god viewed him.

    Murder is not a misdemeanor!

Actually, only a few hundred years ago, he could have gotten a job with the church.

One of the comments under that article says, “Whatever happen to just punching someone?”

during an alcohol and cocaine-fueled argument over the existence of God.

    You’re doing it wrong!

It seems murder is still the best argument religion has ever had…

    The Christian closed his case…

Back up a step. I followed the link and read the article, and there is no mention of Christianity. The shooter apparently believed in God, but no mention is made of which brand he prefers.

Both parties were assholes. Who the fuck asks someone “where was god when your dad died of a stroke” that is just uncalled for. And who the fuck shoots someone over a religious debate? Both are morons.

When I read this post I could not get words to summarize the conflicting thoughts. Well summed up.
