Dr. Kathleen A. Mulhern

Dr. Kathleen Mulhern teaches courses in world history, European history, and history of Christianity. She has taught at Colorado School of Mines and Regis University, and is currently a teaching fellow and the interim director of the Christian Formation Program at the Denver Seminary.

 

She earned her BA from Wheaton College, an MA in French Literature from University of Denver, an MA in Church History from Denver Seminary, and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Colorado.

 

She has also spent 20-plus years as a professional editor in religious publishing. In her work at the Seminary, she explores with students the ways that Church history and theology contribute to the development of a vital spiritual life.

 

Her research interests include: Modern European intellectual history, Christian history, Roman Catholic history, Pascalian spirituality, history of science, and the relationship between science and faith.
