Life is a Game of Cards: What’s In Your Hand?

Tarot cards were originally used to play a card game that was very similar to bridge. As with the Tarot cards today, 21 of the special cards served as permanent trumps. These could be played regardless of what suit was led, and outranked all the ordinary cards just as the Trump cards of the Major Arcana do today. The game became known as the Game of Triumphs and was popular especially among the upper classes of society. In my radio show I use both a deck of playng cards and the Tarot cards for more accurate readings.

Each radio show begins with a protection blessing. If you are reading this blog you may do the same by cocooning yourself in protective mirrored light that only allows that which is of the highest and best to enter into any Tarot information. Everything else is reflected back from whence it came. We wish it so and therefore it is.

During the show, I introduce callers to their personal Conventional Playing Card and Tarot Divination Card by using their birthdates. These are then used for readings and dream interpretations.

These sessions are preceded over by our Spiritual Guides, therefore questions can be asked out loud or silently. Our Guides will hear them and participate in choosing the correct cards for the correct answers. Even if a question is too personal to share with the audience, it is heard by the guides. This can give validation to the reading by choosing the answer to an unvoiced question.

After the show, I post the readings and additional pertinent information that correlates with the readings on my blog. Callers are identified by their name and area code. Chat room people are identified by their chat names.

In this blog, I have the time to add additional information concerning the personal readings including synchronicities that become apparent during the show. What are synchronicities? By definition a Synchronicity is a noun, an apparently meaningful coincidence in time of two or more similar or identical events that are causally unrelated. As you read this blog you may see even more. Often the synchronicities will mirror what is happening in your life. This is because we are all connected by the Greater Oneness of Life. There are no accidents, only accidently on purposes.

Today’s show’s synchronicities were the numbers 7 and 8. These numbers turned up in many readings and birthdays. The suite that showed up the most was Wands.

DOB= 12/13= 5 of Clubs= 5 of Wands

People who are Wands are also known as Rods and Staves. It is the Tarot Suite that symbolizes creativity, action and passion. Wands are energy and growth through rebirth or new beginnings cards. This means that they are constantly going through periods of challenge followed by periods of quiet. I think of the Wands People as the Bears of the Tarot cards. They go through a period of growth (little leaves on the wands) then into stasis or hibernation.

People who are 5s are intelligent, restless, adventurous, creative and freedom-loving.

People who are 5 of Wands are competitive people whose lives revolve around creativity, action and passion. The card shows 5 men holding 5 rods and getting them all tangled up. This card represents struggles in the work and marketplace. Think cooperation or you will not get untangled.

A-Kat chooses the 7th card of the Major Arcana= The Chariot.

The Chariot is the Greatness card. It depicts strong male figure holding the reigns of two beasts, one black and the other white. One beast is male and the other female and pulling in different directions. This is a card of balance that is difficult to achieve, but not impossible. It signifies that greatness can be achieved from hard work. Your goals are in sight. Go for them but keep control over your inner-beasts. Control the process; don’t let the process control you.

Kat- It looks like your spiritual awakening may require hard work but it will be very rewarding in the end.

People who are Wands believe in the power of intentions and ideas. They can manifest their future. They also love words and search for the truth and meaning in them. They can also use words as weapons.

People who are 8s are goal oriented and strong. They are very determined people who work hard, are good with money, realistic and dependable.

People who are 8 of Wands are the arrows who hit their intended targets or goals. The 8 of Wands is one f the few cards that does not have people in it. The card show 8 wands flying through the air like arrows. The 8 of Wands is always moving toward their goal. When they reach it they hit the ground, rest, and then start again. Growth, stasis, growth, stasis….

People who are Pentacles are practical and down-to-earth. Pentacles deal with health, wealth and the physical realm of life.

The Moon is the Insincerity Card. This can be in yourself concerning life or insincerity from others. It is also a hidden dangers or peril card.
