If Bernie is not nominated, we must vote for Hillary; we must stop Trump

Some “Berniecrats” are proclaiming that if Bernie does not win the nomination, they will not vote for Hillary. That attitude is contemptible. It would give the election to Trump, who is fascist. Political scientists are saying that the impoverished and marginalized are voting for Trump, just as such people voted for Hitler. The white supremacists, the KKK, the American Nazi party are all supporting Trump. If he were elected, the US would become completely a police-state plutocracy. If he were to start a war, the other world powers would ally and take us out. We are already a second-class nation. We would become not even third class.

Hillary would be a good President. Sure, Wall Street supports her. But if she were elected, they would not own he or control her. She has adopted so many of Bernie’s platform planks that she would lead a reform, IF she had a Democratic congress That’s what must happen to turn the situation around.

If Bernie does not win the nomination, I’m sure he will say, again, “This is not about me. This is about what is best for the people.” He will ask his supporters to vote for Hillary. He also is a Jew. He will not start a third party. That would guarantee Trump’s election. He will insist that we take no chance that a man like Trump, a possible Hitler, could win.

Work like hell for Bernie. He can win IF enough people vote for him. It looks as if many people who have never voted, out of disgust with both parties, will vote this time. Even so, it’s close, right now. But do what is necessary

Perhaps Hillary would appoint Bernie as Secretary of State or as some other Secretary. Perhaps he would accept. Bernie is not a radical; Europeans consider him to be, at best, a centrist. His platform is like FDR’s, even like Eisenhower’s. That must be emphasized, to work against the propaganda and lies of the Tea Party lunatics.

So do what’s right. Don’t shout stupid slogans. That sort of pride points toward our destruction
