5. Some people are asking: Why not just donate your time and money to the cause? My response: Who says he hasn’t already done that? And would Kaepernick giving a donation, even if a sizeable amount, get as much Media Attention as his “protest” of the American Flag and National Anthem do? Most likely it would not and in terms of getting people’s attention for a cause, he was definitely successful in that regard, as most media (Sports Talk, etc.) are talking about it now, as well as inequality, police brutality and oppression in the United States of America!
