Media misreport Dutch teen Noa Pothoven’s death as euthanasia

Apparently the tragic death of 17-year-old Noa Pothoven has been widely misreported around the globe as euthanasia or assisted suicide, which is legal under certain circumstances in the Netherlands. According to new reports she in fact did ask to be euthanized but the hospital refused. It appears to be more of a case of suicide and not euthanasia. Her story is nonetheless tragic and we must continue to bring awareness to and take action against rape and all forms of abuse. Many children, teens and adult suffer from depression, anxiety, and other mental and emotional illnesses caused by rape and other forms of abuse. Enough is enough! Let us also pray for her eternal rest and for God to bring healing and comfort to her family.
