Jupiter and Venus Unite in the Sky

Jupiter and Venus Unite in the Sky November 15, 2008

Venus-JupiterJupiter and Venus will conjunct in Capricorn on December 2, and as they grow closer in the sky they will provide a beautiful show, especially as the Moon wanes and the sky darkens.  Venus and Jupiter are the brightest planets in the sky besides the Sun and Moon, which is likely the reason they are known as the “benefics” – the planets that are most beneficial astrologically.  Their conjunction is a wonderful event and will help to soften the stress of the other planetary configurations going on now.
