This week on Sunday morning at 11 am EDT we’ll be discussing the conjunction of Pluto to Ceres and the environmental (Ceres) destruction (Pluto) from the past few weeks and what we might expect over the next few months as the cardinal planets continue to align and realign in their cosmic dance. We’ll also talk about the Mercury retrograde cycle and how to more or less gracefully navigate its end next week. There will likely be more time this week... Read more

This will be interesting to watch in light of the absolute failure in the United States to have any kind of coalition or consensus between Democrats and Republicans. Thanks to BBC News for this table. Oppositions require balance and integration, and in order to accomplish that each end of the scale needs to take on characteristics of the other.  Finding common ground is an important first step to finding balance in an opposition.  Let’s see if this can actually be... Read more

The Dow Jones industrial average had a chaotic day yesterday, crashing more than 1000 points and then careening wildly back up.  At the end of the day the Dow had dropped about 3%. According to the Washington Post: Some price swings of stocks defied logic. The shares of  Accenture, a consulting firm, fell from $40 to a single penny and then back to $40 again. Procter & Gamble traded at $54 on the New York Stock Exchange. But at the... Read more

Kathryn Cassidy tweeted yesterday: “The word ‘Reform’ is everywhere. It strongly correlates to the current Saturn/Uranus opposition as do the words Rebellion and Revolution.” She’s right about calls for reform being heard everywhere.  In the US we’ve had healthcare reform, but also financial reform, immigration reform.  Now, with the disaster in the Gulf, the new mayor of New Orleans has called for reform and restructuring of the city’s police department.  An independent think tank in Britain has called for reform... Read more

I have been predicting for some time that the focus as Uranus moves into Aries (at the end of May) will shift from terrorist groups like Al Qaeda to the “lone wolves” who are operating primarily at their own instigation and with their own motives. When an outer planet changes signs or begins a dance with another planet that stimulates a  shift in the energies around us, there is an eruption into the mass consciousness of thought forms that up... Read more

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry ended their relationship last week, although there are indications that the relationship actually ended weeks or months ago. Unfortunately there is a discrepancy on birth dates for Gabriel Aubry which makes it impossible to analyze his chart; some sources say January 4 1976, others say August 30 1976.  Not enough is known about him to make an educated judgment about which date of birth is accurate, but I am leaning towards the August 30 date... Read more

This show was pre-recorded because I’m out of town for the weekend so you won’t be able to call in today, but this is a fascinating interview with Chris Brennan, currently the Research Director for the National Council of Geocosmic Research and a graduate of Kepler College. Chris is one of a very few astrologers who specialize in Hellenistic Astrology, and he is currently heading up a collaborative translation project of ancient astrological texts. He is available for personal consultations... Read more

I’m out of town right now so I’m a bit delayed in posting the full article to my website, but here’s the introduction to help you get started on the month of May. I’ll be sending out my newsletter Sunday so if you want to sign up and receive the translations of these reports into English, visit my website or sign up in the sidebar here. As the month of May begins, the opposition between Saturn and Uranus is still... Read more

A portion of this article is reposted from previous work (A portion of this article is reprinted from an earlier post) In ancient Celtic times, the wheel of the year was honored as the turning of the seasons. In the northern hemispheres, the winter solstice was the shortest day of the year and represented the return of the light, and the summer solstice, being the longest day of the year, was the Celtic fire festival. The equinoxes represented the points... Read more

When Mercury is retrograde, I spend much of my time assuring clients that not everything will fall apart during these periods.  If problems do occur, though, it sure does make it easier to know that Mercury is retrograde and that these things are to be expected. Mercury has only been retrograde for a few days, but already I’ve had the following problems: A security breach on my credit card necessitated the cancellation of that card and issuance of a new... Read more
