Behold the Orchids for Satan’s Bouquet

Behold the Orchids for Satan’s Bouquet July 18, 2016

Earlier today I posted commentary about the Facebook photo that some claim shows a soul leaving a body. In essence, I explained that it was an example of the phenomenon known as pareidolia. In the name of equal time, here’s another example you baby eaters will love.

Two Polish scientists have discovered a new flower. The named it, Telipogon diabolicus, because its reproductive structure looks like the head of a devil.

Here’s what GQ is saying about it:

Satan has visited earth, but he got himself stuck in a little orchid that lives in Colombia, where he was recently found by two Polish scientists. His face—the very image of unmitigated evil, the heart of darkness—is stuck in the center of a newly discovered flower species.

Check it out:

Personally, I think it looks more like a Troll Doll. Or, Drizzt Do’Urden, of the house of Daermon N’a’shezbaernon, having a bad hair day.

Good books. You should read them.

Hail Satan!
