Tonight I was on the the second half of tonight’s Atheist Analysis show, starting at the 57:15 mark of the video above, to talk about prospects for objective morality. I thought it went really well and I’m really grateful to the show’s hosts for giving me the latitude to make complex points and for asking me questions that challenged me in a number of the most logical ways. They were really keyed into what I was saying and good at pushing me to the next stage of explanation with their responses.

For the first hour of the video Jonathon Figdor, co-author of Atheist Mind, Humanist Heart was on the show explaining the ideas in his book and why he thinks that morality is not objective.
