Click here to listen! This week, editor-in-chief Richard Clark is joined by his Mom, Louise “Weesie” Clark, and his fiance, Jennifer Shaheen to explore the deep psychological impact childhood media has on their psyches. Did the Disney boycott have the right idea? Was Nickelodeon pushing the envelope too far? Was Zack Morris a psychopath? (spoiler: Yes) Then, they move on to discussing their experience touring the historical sites in an old, small, southern town. Equal parts awe-inspiring, disturbing, and thought-provoking, Eufaula, AL is... Read more

I thought the songs were too long and his stories far-fetched. Years later and three concerts attended (thanks, Dad!!), Dylan has become my favorite story-telling, harmonica-playing, emotion-stirring artist. (there’s a free trial if you’re uncertain. You’ll love it though, so it’s kinda redundant.) This issue, Alan Noble ponders what the church’s response to the everpresent class crisis ought to... Read more

Christ and Pop Culture is currently looking for feature pitches for articles that will be published exclusively in our new Christ and Pop Culture Magazine (currently available on iOS devices). Christ and Pop Culture features are meant to be timeless, deeply thoughtful, and fresh. They often require substantial research, extremely unique and informative personal experience, or interviewed sources to fill out the... Read more
