Published in 1952, Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White and illustrated by Garth William was named the best selling children’s book of all time in 2000. The novel is about a sweet pig named Wilbur and his wonderful friendship with a spider named Charlotte. When Wilbur’s life was in danger, Charlotte created a clever scheme to keep him alive. A classic for all time, it’s been made into a feature film in 2006 with Julia Roberts as the voice of Charlotte.
