“Do-Nothing Competition” created by artist to combat stress and overstimulation

Back in 2014, an artist in South Korea created a “Space-Out Competition” to combat overstimulation and stress. Competitors are asked to do absolutely nothing and their heart rates are measured during the competition. The winner is the one with the most consistent heart rate over time. Some people meditate and others do yoga…and these people “do-nothing.” Watching people do nothing is more interesting than you might think and I think this artist is on target with trying to have people slow down a bit.
