Children read books to anxious shelter dogs and the results are astounding

These dogs have been traumatized and are anxious in their new setting, but at the Humane Society of Missouri, kids are helping these dogs lessen their anxiety. Kids read books to the dogs and these dogs become noticeably less afraid, making moves from the back of the shelter cage to the front. It’s a beautiful win-win situation!
