Chris Salvatore is an actor and singer living in West Hollywood. He became friends with Norma Cook, now 89, about four years ago and the friendship has grown over time. When Norma started declining due to the leukemia she has been fighting for the last 10 years, Chris asked if she would like to move into his apartment so he could care for her better.

According to People Magazine, Chris says:

I want others to be inspired to be more kind to strangers and neighbors you may see who may seem different than you,” he explains. “Norma taught me that, and I want others to learn from her. Kindness heals and we’re all on this planet together. When you light a lamp for someone else it brightens your own path.

These guys really love each other! What a sweet story of “loving your neighbor as yourself.”

EDITOR’S NOTE: NORMA SADLY PASSED AWAY ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH @ 1AM (just an hour after Valentine’s Day). HER LAST WORDS WERE, “I LOVE YOU.”
