Bryce Crawford and Kenneth Copeland Sat Down for a Podcast

It sounds like the beginning of a joke in Christian circles, right?

For those not in the know, Kenneth Copeland seldom gives interviews. And although Bryce Crawford is blazing an impressive trail with his dynamic “Jesus in the Street” podcast, Kenneth Copeland? Seriously?! Yes, it really happened.

For the first time in over a decade, a pioneer of faith-filled teaching, Kenneth Copeland, sat down with a media member to discuss divine revelation, unwavering faith, and the prosperity gospel. Granted, that last one is not a section in the Bible buried between books that collect dust, like Zephaniah and Haggai. However, that label is so often bemoaned that those new to the Christian faith wonder if they’re missing something.

Bryce Crawford is one of the leading voices of young, faith-filled Christians who aren’t interested in pomp and circumstance. This young man only cares about truth, and the purity of his quest is evident in the millions of subs, likes, and followers who have emerged in the wake of his authentic conversations and insightful perspectives.

Then, somehow, he connected with the Chief Marketing Officer of KCM, Courtney Copeland Acuna, and walked away with a two-hour journey through the Bible with her grandfather.

It was genuine and respectful. Does Bryce Crawford fully agree with how Kenneth Copeland teaches? No, but at least he asked the questions with an open heart, without calling him a “heretic” and packing up a lunch.

Before this riveting conversation between Bryce and Mr. Copeland, I sat down with Courtney to discuss the opportunity, its origins, the two men involved, and the key takeaways we should consider.

This is a brief conversation gleaning perspectives that may be different from some of the concerns and thoughts, drivel and poppycock out there about this already. (Just search both names and “interview.”) When it’s “Close to Home,” all feelings and perspectives should matter.
