Yesterday we celebrated the soul of our nation

Ever notice that we don’t have a holiday celebrating the Constitution that is on par with the Declaration of Independence? I think that’s because the Constitution merely sets out the rules for how to make the country work. The Declaration says what the country should look like when it does work.  The Constitution is the brains of our nation, but the Declaration is the heart and soul.  Just an observation.  Hope everyone had a great Independence Day celebration.  As the wise man once said, enjoy it while it lasts.
