Evangelism then and now

An interesting article at The Catholic Thing giving a brief look at the world in which Christianity was born, and comparing it to ours.  We often imagine that our post-Christian, post-God paganized culture is more akin to the city on seven hills than just a city on a hill.  Maybe.  Maybe not.  Perhaps we have more in common with other parts of the world where Christianity never found firm grounding until recent centuries.  An interesting take.
