RIP Henry Heimlich

Henry Heimlich has died.  The inventor of the Heimlich maneuver, I can’t guess how many lives he saved.  My Mom, who worked in a nursing home when I was younger, saved a man from chocking a day after they were taught the method.

To die is always a bit sad, and yet to think of the good that came from his having lived?  A life well lived I’d say.  Well done Mr. Heimlich, and thank you.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
