A shooting in Florida

Apparently there has been a shooting in the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.  News is still unfolding but it appears that at least five have died.  Others have been wounded.

These are always tough.  Any violence or murder is horrible, but there’s something about people being randomly killed just because they were there, going about their business, plans and expectations for the day.  Terrible.

God bless those who died and their loved ones, cover their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord.  On this side of the jumbled mess of the universe, this doesn’t make sense.  If it did, it wouldn’t take away the hurt.  So pour blessings of peace and strength on those left behind, those still suffering, and those who are called upon to protect and heal.
