Stories that bring hope

Young Muslims come together to help clean up a church damaged by ISIS.   This happens, and quite often.  Not just Muslims doing right, but people in general.  I remember when some radical atheist attacked and defaced a small church a couple years ago.  Atheists came together and raised money for expenses.

When a Mosque was destroyed by fire, local Christian and Jewish groups came together to help.  That’s the usual.  As often as not, people will reflexively do the right thing, or at least try.

Not that the minority is irrelevant.  That vocal minority can make more than noise.  Nonetheless, focusing on what most people are inclined to do is a good antidote for the frustration and anger that comes with the headlines that prefer the bad more than the good.

Well done young folks.  You do your land proud.
